I really loved PenPoint, but it's been dead for 8 years now; little in the computer world that's 8-years-old is much good today. The Tablet PC SDK beta is available to people who want to play with it, and although Tablet PCs are hard to come by, developing on a PC with a Wacom works fine for now. Writing pen-enabled apps with VB or C# is really, really easy now, and Tablet should be able to do everything PenPoint and PenWindows could do -- better and easier -- and do much more than either of those platforms could do.
